More affirmation art...

Last Friday my friend Ruth came over to play... I got busy creating backgrounds for lots of canvases:

 

Over the weekend I was able to dedicate a few more hours here and there, so far I have made these pieces:

The following are 10" x 10" pieces, but I have not scanned the entire canvas... I think you get a pretty good idea anyways, tho colours are not quite right:

I am really loving my mixed media art right now. I feel very free and instinctive about each piece, it just comes together without requiring me to "think" too much... that doesn't always happen easily, so when it does I embrace it whole-heartily.

Tonight is my Mixed Media class and I cant wait to see what my fellow artists have done during the week... I must share some of their creations soon, they are wonderful !!
