I got these while up north on holidays recently. Coffs is the epi centre of Op Shopping and I was in heaven. SMITTEN !! My dear girl Vanessa and I visited quite a few stores. These were number one on my "to find" list. Day one I only found one, and it was a bit exy in my opinion. Day two I found another five (and very well priced) and so my "Harlequin" set is well on it's way.
I plan to use these when I have artists dates and in the spring time with my gal pals.
You know, not blogging while on holidays, and having some down time, and time to think and be inspired and and and... means that I have so many thoughts and ideas about things to do and blog about - unfortunately I remain very busy with my kidlets - and one of them - the littlest dude really is very Mumsy right now. Sometimes he will cry if I am a mere 20 metres away. This is both cute and tough on both of us. Also I am rather sooky lately and need to just hold him a lot. Maybe because Nath and I are thinking we won't have anymore bubbas. I am treasuring all these magic moments with my family. Good and bad, I love hanging out with them. I love our crazy, busy, hectic... less than spotless home we have together.
Anyways... SOON I hope to be able to do a bit of a "brain dump" and get some stuff created, and formulated... posted up here on this old blog. Share with gorgeous *you* and all.
I also have some exciting stuff to share in relation to my teaching.
Sooooo would love to do Ali's week in the life... have been looking forward to it since I missed it in 2008. As full time Mumma I am just too time poor (and no babysitter-slash-nanny) to enable me to do the project any justice. Asides I remain "behind" in my daily pages for 365 of 2010... so I can always try play catch up with those. Also this week coincides with our 2nd week of school holidays. I would rather do it during term, gives more of a realistic "snapshot" of our life, in the thick of it so to speak. So I leave it to "maybe next time", again. I have to let go of my small amount of sadness about it. Be realistic and give myself a bit of a break... LORDY KNOWS I have lots of bits of memorabilia and stuff shoved stored away to get into some kinda scrapbook ONE DAY. Maybe I could use this week to simply prepare for next year. Smile.
On other Mummy related matters... I read "Mama Mia" by Mia Freedman while away on holidays... wonderful book, I really enjoyed it and highly recommend it. There were tears and laughter. Mia is a great writer. Her blog is here.
Until next post my loves... have a nice cuppa tea.
Hugs
Bxo
