Golden + Coffee...

Such a sweet combination!

Well... seems forever since I spent four {4} wonderful art filled days with a group of super fabulous and talented women artists in Melbourne. Hard to comprehend it was only last week.

So many posts swirling around in my mind, just no time to share them as yet. SO MUCH ART TO CREATE & no time to do that either.

Right now, it is all about family time... we are totally ensconced in our family togetherness. We got back on Saturday and have been going a million miles since... with a "to do" list the length of my arm each day (and then some) unpacking, washing, sorting (you know the drill); exercise; shopping; running errands; doctors appointments; post offices visits; collecting Benjamin's' passport; photos to print; basketball games to see; GORGEOUS sunrises to experience (sadly no camera, but it was truly exquisite! I thoroughly recommend 5am wake-ups) BBQ and sharing with wonderful friends; usual life stuff; school holiday stuff; and getting ready to fly out to New Zealand {on Friday} stuff.

So I wont be around for another 10 days or so...

Oh, my poor neglected blog, you can be sure many other aspects of my life are thriving *smile*

Where to begin...

WOW, feels like forever since I last updated this here blog... or even made a few regular posts. We've had some busy times. Some wonderfully, life busy, times :)

Quick shares... some with photos and some without.

We've been back to Adelaide to meet our gorgeous nephew Sean... he is so adorable! I have a whole post dedicated to this monumental occassion, which I will share soon! Naturally I took about a gazillion photos of bubs with Mumma and Dadda.

We've been celebrating our Joshua's third birthday.

Thanks so much to Cooper, Elliot, Thomas, Audrey, Michael, Daniel, Sophie, Aaliah, Paisley, Jack, Oscar, Lewis, Harry... and our Mikaela and Benjamin for making Joshua's celebrations such a wonderful afternoon of fun and excitement. Joshua was in serious heaven!

The very next day we woke at 430am to be on the road by 5am! On our way to here.

 

So that I could be here for FOUR {4} full days of artistic joy:

I'll be sharing a WHOLE lot more about this intensive four day course I've been attending...becoming a certified GOLDEN International Workshop Instructor... a dream come true!!! Beyond! YUMMMMMMOO !!!

I have lots to share about Miss Mikaela and her sporting ... lots happening with her of late. Here's a pic of her in her grandfinal basketball game recently:

 

Ben is a munchkin and continues to totally delight and charm absolutely everyone he meets. Melts my heart this kid!

 

So that's about it from us for now... we are still in Melbourne for a few more days. Shopping to be done and all :)

Then next week we are off to here for a family holiday.

Birthday Daddy...

Father's Day actually fell on my darling husband's birthday this year... so we had a DOUBLE celebration.

 Lots of pressies.

Father's Day Mini Album...

This year I created this mini album for Nath...

The little red envelope includes little love notes from each of us. Benjamin's is really something quite special !

I hope you had a wonderful Father's Day too... happened to also be my darling husband's BIRTHDAY. So he got thoroughly spoiled all day.

I never thought I would ever say this...

I've just been way to busy, and focused on many other things ... to be blogging! Oops! My oh my. Sorry about that lovelies...

This is not our yard, but in our neighbourhood... I drive past everyday. Yesterday I decided I would stop and take a photo. As I pulled up, the owner came outside to go to their car. I asked if he would mind if I took a photo of his beautiful blossom tree. He was clearly rather chuffed... and we got to talking. The tree actually needs to be cut down due to rot, but they just can't bring themselves to do it. I so get that. Blossom trees are a fond memory from my childhood, where my Pop would make a tea party for me and my two sisters. The tree we have in our home now was definitely one of the deciding factors for buying. Our architects have drawn up our house plans around our tree. A plum was always on my most desirable list when we were in the search for our family home. I just have such fond memories of family, spring, the outdoors, togetherness. This family have a number of plum trees in their yard, all varying colours, all bloom at different stages of spring. Just Gorgeous!
