As we get nearer to our house move, time seems to be speeding up... and perhaps that is because we have so many things going on right now. Last night was Mikaela's end of year concert. They were so good, a credit to their music teacher that's for sure!
Joshua was so thrilled to see his sister up on stage, and she had to announce the last song... which she was a bit nervous about, but did great! They did "Footloose" and it was awesome!

Monday's are my days with just Ben and I, today I have lots of work to do.
Fingers crossed Ben is up for a few big long naps :) Cutie pie is getting his knees up and really putting himself in the ready to crawl position (very determined little guy is he)... I have reminded him that he needs to learn to sit up first!!

You know after taking so many photos of my cousins and the boys Friday, I was not so into taking photos yesterday... & we were pretty busy. DFO, Mikaela's last game of basketball for the season. I went to watch with the boys in tow, rather we all went together. Usually Nath and Mikaela go on their own I stay home as it is hard to explain ball & danger to Joshua, he just equates ball=fun! & it is usually his nap time after his swimming lesson. Did some more packing, contented with a teething bubba and generally grumpy 2 year old.
Anyhooooo... my page for yesterday is pretty much all about MOI, and my 50 minutes... COUNT THEM ... FIFTY to myself at a cafe and bookstore = enough time to feel more like "myself" again :) To be just simply "Me" for a bit:
Friday this book arrived:
Lisa has a website too. Totally coincidental is that my cousin had just returned my book "the artists way by Julie Cameron" who is quoted on the cover and refers to Lisa as a muse. I like moments like that. You see, my cousin had the book for months, and has tried to return it to me a few times, but either she or I forgot. So now I have both gorgeous books and look forward to my journey into "writing motherhood"... I feel it is something I really need right about now!
Yesterday I took some time out of my day, and away from the family... an hour to myself, a mini-artist date all to myself.
I went here and here. I sat down and enjoyed a brownie and latte:
Nath and I also watched "Jane Austen Bookclub" recently... which I totally enjoyed, and thankful that my hubs is so thoughtful to tape it for me cause he knew I'd like it. Thanks babes!

Hey there, wow Friday already... I dont know about you but this week has gone by crazy fast for me. Yesterday (as with every Thursday) was all about Paint and Play:
YES.. that is RED PAINT on Joshua's nice white top :) who dresses their kids in white for a paint and play day, really!
I know I've mentioned before how great this community is for me... I seriously love these mornings. I am not sure who looks forward to it more, Me or Joshua. Yesterday my crew were not there... one off doing a Yoga course, the other down at the Great Ocean Road... still Joshua and I had a blast. Even had a cafe date lunch as Nath was at his work chrissy do.
Next week will be our last week for the year and I am going to take along my face painting kit.
Oh and also next week, I am going out for my "work" christmas party :) One of the girlies is organising for all us Stay-at-Home Mummies... like I said, I so TOTALLY LOVE my community!! I so enjoyed telling Nath I had to go to my "work" christmas party I can tell you LOL !!!
Sometimes our P&P is on a Saturday, which is so totally kewl because Mikaela and Nath are able to see what it's all about and have some fun with us too. Layouts like this make me miss my girl... I know she has fun at school... but I am sure looking forward to the holidays and having her with me/us.
