More Digi LOVE...

One of the aspects of digital scrapbooking that I enjoy the most is that I don't have to scrap in order. I never did anyways... even with paper scrapping, but it is even easier to scrap all willy-nilly digitally. 

These pages are from January, and holidaying in Palm Cove, our home away from home.

A digital scrapbook layout...

To celebrate Mikaela and her 114 month anniversary today. I try and create a page each month of each child, to document what they've been up to for that month:

This photo just captures her perfectly... full of smiles, love and joy. Though, try to get her to clean her room (or ask her to do anything really) and you'll hear about it! Becoming quite the strong willed little miss of late!

Hey hey... here are a few more pages I've been working on lately. 

Argh... somewhere along the way, my numbering system got outta wack. I had to go back and re-do quite a few pages. I'm all sorted again, FOR GOOD. Now I just need to get cracking on trying to get up to date. TIME my friends... TIME is the factor there :) I know you get that one.

Joshua 34 months old today...

I try to do a monthly page for each of my three children... a summary of what they've been doing and interested in. On the anniversary of their birth day... so the 13th is our little Joshua, who will be three very soon. 2 months to be precise!

And because I adore this song, and it reminds me of Joshua, I created this layout too:

You are a joy to our lives Joshua... I love you matie!

Lucky 13th...

... the place Mikaela came in at for her South Zone Cross Country Carnival yesterday...

I felt quite helpless as she ran into the finish line bawling... she really gave it her everything. She complained that she couldn't breathe. There was no obvious laboring going on, I think she just put everything into it... she is one tough little cookie. She recovered very quickly, but I'm taking her to the doctors just to check that she has no asthma coming on. I've always kept a close eye on this as it runs in our family.

We've got a list of things to speak to our Doc about actually LOL... and I have an appointment too... check on the effectiveness of my thyroid meds and iron levels. I just LOVE our family Doc!

365 Days: an update...

I have so many days missing, but I am not going to concern myself about that little matter. I am happy with my self imposed challenge to do a layout a day for the 365 days of twenty ten. I have created an album here to store them all in for you to see.

I am trying not to think of what I haven't done, and instead, concentrate the layouts that I HAVE done. Here are two I have finished these past couple of days:

 

First layout is a Cathy Zielske template from Designer Digitals.

Second one I created myself using frames and papers etc from Designer Digitals. I used Photobooth on my imac to take the photos ... I love photobooth. I have SO many photos of Ben and I taken with it. I did this layout here, also using photobooth images... I love the snapshot of time that layout shows.

So happy it's the weekend. Got lots happening here. Furniture being delivered for Mikaela's bedroom (Joshua's bed has not yet arrived in the warehouse, so we wont get that for another few weeks now)... I have a few girlie friends coming over on Sunday for an Artists Date. I also need to get a wall and a shelf painted. Other than that the usual swimming, basketball, groceries, cleaning. Oh and a bit of relaxing and hanging out together too.

Happy 32nd month Anniversary little Joshua dude... I can NOT believe you'll be 3 years old in just a few months. 

We're off to Paint & Play today... and it's such fun now because Benjamin is getting right into it & having lots of fun trying to eat the coloured rice.

Tonight I get to have fun at my Mixed Media class.
