I have first hand experience having worked for our govenment's department of immigration in the compliance section for some 9 years... I have many very sad memories of those times. I felt I was bringing a softer approach to my job, I still had to do what the law required. Let me say our laws on how we treat people without visas is disgusting. INHUMAN even. Thankfully Mikaela's father is an Australian citizen and he has no reason to fear or be nervous daily. I pray that I will live to see a world where we have a "Global Visa" where no one can be removed or deported, detained for years on end... no one can be treated like that simply for crossing a border. To me we are all sisters and brothers of this planet... Go see the movie if you get a chance, it is very powerful and I am sure you will love it as I did. Bxo
