Absolutely loving...

Creating some pretty girls again...

Of course there are never enough hours in the day for me to get into my art as much as I would like when I become impassioned about it.... I have to remind myself to let go of expectations, to take a deep breath, walk away from my latest work because I am a full time Mumma first and foremost...

And absolutely loving that too...

Today more than most I am reminded at how very precious life is... and to not take a single moment for granted. RIP MP.

TA DAH....Here is my first finished piece I have been working on for a few weeks now :)

They are very involved pieces, so many layers upon layers. The thing I love the most about doing all this mixed media is that I can get so much done in an hour or two I have here and there. Especially when working on a few pieces at once. Also there are so many elements, the one I've just finished, the "leaves" ... I punched those in the car waiting for Mikaela after school, it took a few days. The little birdie cage, I got here and cut it in half.
