Easter Break...

We went to our holiday home in Palm Cove... Far North QLD, its about 20mins north of Cairns. Soooooo blissful !!

Highlights for me were:

• Getting to spend time with my lifetime bestest friends (I have known them since my early teens) Naomi and Tanya.
• Hanging out with Nath's business partner, Steve and pretty much his entire clan (there were about 20 in total) all holidaying at Angsana.
• Going on a 90ft yacht, the Tallarook and snorkeling the Great Barrier Reef (always amazing)... I have never been on such a boat and nor had it privately hired "just for us"... it was fantastic.
• Watching Nath and Mikaela jump off the side of the Tallarook into the great blue together holding hands. Cheeky monkeys!
• Visiting the Aboriginal Cultural Centre, Tjapukai and being educated on the region's aboriginal history (and throwing a boomerang, quite badly LOL!).. Nath did well. The rest of us, so-so.
• Having 5 of my canvas artworks commissioned by a local giftwares store (more on that later)
• Finding some gorgeous "things"... items of inspiration and delight, which I will share later too.
• The best part is always just hanging out and relaxing for a few days!
