Week in Review: 21 June 2015...

It has been a while I realise and I've decided to just jump in and get going.

This is our week in review for the week ending Sunday 21st June 2015:

1. Benjamin lost his first tooth.
2. Mikaela and Ellie at the ACT Triathlon Awards night, both won awards.
3. Mikaela with her award trophies.
4. Joshua was awarded a certificate of merit at this weeks assembly.
5. For "his endless enthusiasm and curiosity for learning. I love your positive attitude towards                                                 researching new topics! (and learning your tricky spelling words! WOW!!)" Can I just say how much I love Joshua's grade 2 teacher! She is exactly what he needs right now!
6. This weeks assembly was presented by the Kindy classes - that's Benjamin's grade. 
7. Benjamin had to dress up as a Fireman and address the assembly. Super cute!
8. Mikaela's awards - 1 is for first female aged 12-13years, the other is for overall female first for the 2015 Novice Series - an amazing achievement for a 13 year old to beat all the adults and especially for her first triathlon season. Good job Mikaela!
9. Joshua is taking my new role as Uniform Shop Manager at his school VERY seriously. He thinks the uniform should be polished up quite a bit! Love this boy!

There is so much going on for us it gets a bit hectic, but I am very fortunate to be able to only work a very few minimal hours each week and mostly just be mumma to my very busy 3 kiddies. Its a good life.

I *heart* blurb...

I am so happy to finally have created my first hardcover scrapbook for the family.

It arrived in the post today from Blurb, and I have to say I am REALLY pleased!

The print quality is GREAT. I was worried that the text, or some of the images, may not print well. Nope, no problem. It looks awesome. 

I ordered the 12 x 12 inch hardcover album, upgraded to thick matt lusture pages and selected grey tissue protector pages at the front and back of the book.

The pages are thick and crisp, I love them:

The text came out beautifully:

And the binding is strong and sturdy:

It now sits up {high, away from little hands with textas!!} on my bookshelf:

And I gotta say, I like the "by Rebecca Vavic" on the spine.

Now I am ready for A Week in The Life 2011, which starts very soon.

I am in the process of putting 2009 into a book also, probably get that one and 2011 printed at the same time.

I also have my blog's to get sorted. Sigh! I've been trying to get "My Soul Whispers" from 2006-2008 (two full years of almost daily posts) into the one book, it's just way too big. I think that the easiest solution for me is to break them down by year. So hopefully this year, will be the year I can finally cross that off my "to do" list as far as memory preservation goes.
