Doing our thing yesterday morning, at 630am, boot camp style:

These are just a few of our FIT crew who have decided to take on the Michelle Bridges 12WBT challenge, I think there are about 10 of us in total. I am so lucky to have such a fantastic bunch of women to get our sweat on together... we had a terrific session. This week Jacqui guided the bootcamp, next week it'll be my turn.
We were down at the lake, and let me just say... that is not the place to be when you are injured and can NOT run !! **And just days out of the marathon you were supposed to run**. By the end of our bootcamp session I was ready to push the next runner I saw into the lake. Damn injury... seriously sucks not to be able to run my little heart out as I have done for months now. I am missing my 40-50kms a week terribly! Sob sob!
On better news, yesterday was...
... and given it was WIW (Weigh in Wednesday)... we were all excited with our first accomplishment. My loss was 1.3kg. Awesome. I'm really happy with that.
Later in the morning I headed to the gym for a PT session with the fabulous Paul Slater who got me doing crazy bench presses and upper body workout. Afterwards I gave myself a good stretching with a yoga/pilates style group class.
Sticking with my nutrition plan like glue yesterday, and doing the workouts... enabled me to gain my first sub 1k calorie deficit at 1052.
This morning I did a 6am RIDE class with Mel & IronMumma... I won't be doing another workout today, so it will be very unlikely I'll break the 1k deficit today. I will however be enjoying my herbal teas and drinking lots of water.
