I'm really sorry to read this.

I'm a novice runner as well (more novice than you... I haven't taken the plunge an admitted to anyone that I want to run a marathon yet :) ) and I have taken great solace and interest reading through your posts this year. I really hope it comes together for you next year, and please keep the updates coming.

All the best!

Donna

I have been following your running journey for a while now and can understand your dissapointemnt of not being able to complete your marathon. But this isn't the only marathon. There will be another one. This is just another hurdle. You will come back better and stronger, physically and emotionally.

Oh so sorry hun to read that :-( I think sometimes it takes more courage to stop, reassess and regroup than to just continue with plan A for the sake of it. Well done for listening to your body and I know you will run up a storm in 2012!
Much love :-)
