Sorry I'm not doing so well at keeping up this here blog with my day to day sweating activities.
I assure you I am doing a lot of it.
This past weekend I did a 7.5km bush run with my FIT gal pals, I burned some 712 cals. Nice! It was a fantastic girlie weekend away down the coast. 8 of us celebrating our Round 1 of 2012 accomplishments, and dreaming up some plans for the future.
Running again felt SO very good, a bit niggly on my injury, but otherwise pretty fabulous.
I have been doing some intense training sessions with my PT, Fiona, involving TRX cables & kettlebells. I love to hate TRX, so much so, that I am thinking of getting myself some for traveling workouts. The best things ever. My favourite? the pushup+tuck combo= solid abs. I also love the never-ending variations for so many workouts.
My other PT, Paul continues to challenge me with core stablising and correcting workouts and techniques. LOVE IT.
I've also been doing some (75km, 40km, 85km) road rides with IronMum. This weekend she is doing her IronMan race in Port Macquaire, and I will be there to cheer her on ever step of the way. So exciting!
Then there is the indoor RIDE class, which one can NEVER underestimate, seriously HARD some of them classes. Some I have nothing in the tank and I just have to TRY and finish. Either way I leave the room dripping in sweat feeling accomplished.
Today I will do this in my living room, and perhaps do a quick RIDE class at lunch time?
Oh, and not at all sweat related, I've dyed my hair purple {well some of it!}:
And for those of you scales curious... I am at 63.5kgs as of this morning... slowly getting back down to my ideal of 57-58kgs. I am happy with where I am at right now. All is well and good in my world these days as far as my weight, health and fitness... my sweaty sweaty is going :)
Sadly it looks as tho my dear friend is in his last weeks, a few, or several, we don't know... in losing his battle with cancer. I brace myself as best I can.
